Quadrix

The Quadrix Processor is a hardware imageprocessor working under dynamical reconfiguration and parallel data processing. It is possible to process datas up to 4 cameramodules simultaneously. The activation of the devices and modules takes place in the processor. The unique capacity with the highly flexible application sets standards for the image processing industry.

The unique capacity with the highly flexible application sets standards for the image processing industry. The graphic representation of all data and filters takes place in the hardware, therefore the system processing is faster and the user gains resources for more algorithms in the computersystem. The analyzing of the data can take place autarkic or in combination with further Quadrix Systems. The Quadrix can transfer graphical material and interpreted data to external systems as clever terminal strips (Beckhoff, Siemens, WAGO,… )

The Processor can be delivered with various standard cameramodules as complete unit or as OEM with all necessary information for your implementation. Compute intensive image processing as object search and analysis (Blob-search), edge-detection (Canny-Algorithm) or the transversal filter (FIR Filter) can be display directly in your hardware. The imageprocessor is reconfigurable during the operation. Therfore the analysis of several filters can occur parallel or sequential in realtime; this causes no loss of power in the framerate.

  • Blob-search
  • Canny-Algorithmus
  • FIR-Filter, FFT, Hough Algorithmus
  • Matrixfilter (3 x 3) up to (16 x 16)
  • Meridianfilter (3 x 3 and 5 x 5)
Cabability characteristics
  • In case of the image analysis “Blob” all objectdata is available in the hardware after a latency of 80 ns.
  • The canny filter files after 240 ns a filterimage into the memory; up to 15000 objects can be found without a sinking refreshrate
  • Depending on the ROI (Region of Interest) and the shutter speed a framerate up to 20kHz can be reached
  • All 4 cameramodules work independently, free addressed and can work synchronously
